Terms of service
Effective date and last updated: October 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of Ardis, a places and plans service operated by Solofett LLC ("Ardis", "we", "us"), including the ardis.one website, the Ardis web and iOS apps, and Ardis Connect. By creating an account or using Ardis, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Ardis.
Who can use Ardis
You must be at least 18 years old. By using Ardis you confirm that you are 18 or older and can form a binding agreement. Ardis is designed for use in the United States. You may not use Ardis if you are barred from doing so under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us right away at support@ardis.one if you think your account was accessed without permission.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post, such as lists, reviews, ratings, photos, and invitations. You give Ardis a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify (for example, to resize a photo), and distribute that content as needed to run, promote, and improve Ardis, including showing it to people you share it with or make it visible to. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that other users have shared or that remain in routine backups for a limited time.
You promise that you own your content or have the rights to post it, and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, and publicity rights.
If you send us ideas or feedback about Ardis, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Prohibited conduct
Do not use Ardis to:
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or exploits or endangers minors.
- Post fake, paid-for, or misleading reviews or ratings, or impersonate another person or business.
- Spam, scrape, or send unwanted invitations or messages, or access Ardis by automated means except as we allow.
- Share another person's private information or photos without permission.
- Interfere with, probe, or try to break the security of Ardis, or use it to harm others.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, or upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Create accounts to evade a suspension or block.
Moderation and zero tolerance
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users on Ardis. You can report any content or user, and block any user, from within the app. We review reports and act on them, including removing content and suspending or permanently removing accounts, without prior notice where we think it is needed. See our Support page for how to report and block.
Copyright complaints
We respect the intellectual property of others and respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Ardis infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at support@ardis.one with "Copyright" in the subject, or by mail to the address under Contact below. Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it, such as a link.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
If your content was removed in response to a notice and you believe that was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notice containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We may restore the content unless the complaining party files a court action within the time the law allows. Anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
Repeat infringers. We will disable or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others, and we keep records of notices, counter-notices, and the actions we take.
Places data and third-party content
Ardis shows information about places, such as hours, locations, and photos, that comes from other users and third-party sources, including OpenStreetMap data used under the Open Database License. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or current. Confirm details with the venue before you go. Opinions in reviews and lists belong to the people who wrote them, not to Ardis. Ardis may link to third-party sites and services that we do not control and are not responsible for.
Sponsored content and Ardis Connect
Ardis Connect lets businesses and creators find each other and agree to engagements. Content a creator publishes as part of a paid, gifted, or otherwise compensated engagement carries a visible sponsorship disclosure that the creator cannot remove. Businesses and creators promise that any claims they make are truthful and substantiated, and that compensation is never conditioned on a particular review or rating. Agreements made through Ardis Connect are between the business and the creator; Ardis is not a party to them, does not hold funds on either party's behalf, and is not responsible for either party's performance. Additional terms shown in Ardis Connect apply to those features.
Paid features
Ardis is currently free and has no in-app purchases. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions, we will show you the price, the billing period, and any automatic renewal terms before you buy, obtain your consent to recurring charges, and provide a simple way to cancel. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple's terms and are billed and refunded by Apple.
Ending your account
You can stop using Ardis at any time and delete your account in the app (Settings, then Account, then Delete account) or by emailing support@ardis.one. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put others at risk. Our Privacy policy explains what happens to your data. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (including Your content, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, Indemnity, and General) survive the end of your account.
Disclaimers
Ardis is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that Ardis will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or that any recommendation, place, or route will suit you or be safe. You are responsible for your own safety when visiting places you find through Ardis.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Solofett LLC and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of Ardis, however caused. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or Ardis is limited to the greater of $100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Solofett LLC against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of Ardis, or your breach of these terms.
Apple App Store
If you use the Ardis iOS app, these additional terms apply. These terms are between you and Solofett LLC, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for Ardis or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no warranty obligation for the app; if the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund any purchase price you paid for it. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, and claims under intellectual property law. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts located in Orange County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, and you consent to that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve it informally by emailing support@ardis.one; we will try to do the same.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Ardis after a change means you accept the updated terms.
General
These terms and the Privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and Ardis about Ardis. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business. Ardis is controlled from the United States, and you agree to comply with United States export and sanctions laws when using it.
